Alhambra has a long standing involvement with tennis in Berlin and is the major sponsor of the iconic Berlin event, the Alhambra Classic.  The Alhambra Classic is part of the Women's Tennis Association's (WTA) tour and is played in the first week of January each year at the Alhambra Tennis Centre in Berlin.

In recent years, some of the world’s most iconic female athletes have headlined the Alhambra Classic. Superstars such as Ana Ivanovic, Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki have wowed crowds and created a buzz around the tournament.

Outside of Berlin, Alhambra is also a proud supporter of Tennis around the country.
